Yes, and there are two programs, both for commercial insurance. Spravato withMe is the copay savings program. Our billing team enrolls you automatically, and it brings some commercial copays down to $10 per session. The Spravato Observation Rebate Program (ORP) gives rebates to some other commercial patients. You enroll yourself, and we will walk you through it. Medicare and Medicaid patients are not eligible for either program, but coverage through those plans is usually strong.
No. Spravato is esketamine, a prescription nasal spray, and it is classified as a dissociative, not a classic psychedelic. Some patients feel floaty or detached for an hour or so, while others have a deeper experience with greater insight. Either way, every session is monitored on site for two hours, and most describe it as a shift in perspective rather than a trip.
No. You’ll be monitored for at least two hours after treatment, and you cannot drive for the rest of the day. Plan to have someone pick you up — we'll remind you when scheduling.
