Ketamine Therapy
for Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, & More
A rapid-acting treatment approach for people who haven’t found relief with traditional options.
Alternative Private-Pay Treatment
Ketamine therapy is a medical treatment option used by individuals seeking a different approach to mental health care. At Reyou, ketamine is administered in-clinic under medical supervision as part of a structured, individualized treatment plan.
Ketamine therapy at Reyou is designed for individuals struggling with persistent mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and related disorders. Treatment is delivered in a carefully monitored clinical setting, with attention to safety, comfort, and integration.
Ketamine therapy is available at our New Jersey clinics.
Who Ketamine Therapy Is For
Many people who explore ketamine therapy are thoughtful, informed, and frustrated by limited progress. Ketamine offers a different pathway worth careful consideration.
Ketamine therapy may be appropriate for adults who:
Continue to struggle despite antidepressants or therapy
Experience chronic or severe depression
Live with anxiety, PTSD, OCD, or postpartum symptoms
Seek a different approach and feel stuck in life
How Ketamine Works
Ketamine works differently than traditional antidepressants. Rather than primarily targeting serotonin, ketamine affects the brain’s glutamate system, which plays a role in neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to form new connections and adapt.
This mechanism is believed to help interrupt rigid thought patterns and may support new ways of relating to emotions, memories, and stress.
Many patients report meaningful shifts sooner than with standard medications, sometimes within hours or days, though individual experiences vary.
What we treat
Conditions Ketamine Treats
Depression can make life feel heavy, foggy, and disconnected — like going through the motions while the world moves on without you. At its core, it is often the mind stuck ruminating about the past, replaying regrets and losses until the thoughts become the feeling, and the feeling becomes who you think you are. Ketamine and Spravato® therapy can help interrupt that cycle and create space for something different to take hold.
Anxiety is the mind stuck worrying about the future — scanning for threats, bracing for the worst, never quite settling down. It can show up as racing thoughts, tension in the body, or a low hum of dread that never fully quiets. Ketamine for anxiety works with the nervous system directly, helping it shift out of constant alert and into a state where calm is actually possible.
Trauma can keep the nervous system locked in survival mode long after the danger has passed. Memories intrude, the body stays on guard, and the world feels less safe than it should. At Reyou, we approach trauma with care — creating the conditions where the nervous system can begin to release what it has been holding, without being overwhelmed.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is the mind caught in loops it cannot stop — repetitive thoughts and compulsive patterns that tighten the more you try to resist them. Like a Chinese finger trap, the harder you pull, the more stuck you become. Ketamine therapy may help by temporarily loosening those rigid circuits and creating space for the brain to find more flexible ways of responding.
The early weeks with a new baby should not feel like drowning. Postpartum depression can bring overwhelming sadness, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and a painful disconnection from the moments that are supposed to matter most. Because the postpartum window is short and precious, treatments that may work more quickly can make a meaningful difference.
Addiction is rarely just about the substance. Beneath the dependency, there is often unresolved trauma, depression, or anxiety — conditions that drove the coping in the first place. Our approach focuses on treating those underlying patterns, helping create the stability and clarity needed for recovery to take hold.
Treatment recommendations are individualized and based on a comprehensive clinical evaluation.
The Reyou Experience with Ketamine
At Reyou, ketamine therapy is not a transactional procedure — it is a guided process designed to support real, lasting change. Every detail of your care is intentional, from the environment you walk into to the support you receive after each session.
Thorough Evaluation
We begin with a comprehensive psychiatric assessment to understand your history, goals, and whether Spravato® is the right fit.
Careful Screening
We don’t treat everyone. If Spravato® isn't safe or appropriate for you, we'll tell you — and help you find what is.
Set & Setting
Emotional preparation and education, so you walk in grounded. How and where you heal matters as much as the medicine.
Calm & Private Environment
Private treatment rooms are intentionally designed — no sterile hospital feel. Just a quiet, warm space where you can be fully present.
Medical Supervision Throughout
A clinical team monitors you continuously during every session. You’re never alone — even if you just need a hand to hold.
Structured Treatment Series
Spravato® is delivered as a series of treatments. Dosing and frequency are guided by your response, safety, and clinical judgment.
Integration-Informed Care
After each session, we help you make sense of what came up — we are connecting insights to your life, not just checking a box.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Psychedelics have a long history, though they’re often misunderstood. Let us be your guide and help you through your questions.
Some patients report changes within hours or days, while others notice shifts over the course of a treatment series. Individual responses vary.
Experiences vary. Some patients notice altered perception or dissociation during sessions. When held in a safe, supervised setting, this altered state can soften habitual patterns of thinking and create space for insight, emotional processing, and change. This is why ketamine is administered in a controlled clinical environment with attentive support.
When used thoughtfully in a medical setting, ketamine can be administered safely with appropriate screening and monitoring. At Reyou, careful patient selection and ongoing oversight are central to how treatment is delivered.
Spravato® and ketamine are related but distinct treatments. Spravato® is an FDA-approved form of esketamine with specific indications, primarily treatment-resistant depression and depressive symptoms associated with suicidal thoughts. Ketamine therapy is more flexible in how it can be used clinically and is commonly considered for a broader range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, addiction, and postpartum depression. The experience with ketamine is also different for many patients, often involving a deeper dissociative or psychedelic-like state. Because of these differences, the choice between Spravato® and ketamine depends on a person’s symptoms, history, preferences, and clinical goals. During a consultation, we help patients explore which option may be the best fit.
Most treatment plans begin with a series of four sessions. After the initial series, some patients benefit from occasional maintenance sessions based on their response. The number and frequency of treatments are individualized based on your symptoms, clinical goals, and how you respond. We discuss expectations openly during your consultation and adjust the plan as needed throughout your care.
Ketamine therapy is a private-pay treatment and is not covered by insurance. A series of four treatments is $1,980 ($495 per treatment). We are transparent about costs from the beginning so there are no surprises. Financing options are available to help make treatment more accessible. During your consultation, we will review your treatment plan and answer any questions about pricing or payment options.
